The Hexagon Hive

The Hexagon Hive celebrates the need for unity and harmony among all species of bee.

Hexagons were hand drawn and filled with garden flowers loved by bees chosen by over 50 women within the Women & Bees collective.

The design was inspired by vintage seed packets with a nod to the stylised florals of Mary Quant.

Hexagons are found in sacred shapes such as ‘the flower of life’, they symbolise harmony, balance, strength, creativeness, community and good luck.
