The Oak Bark Devon Belt is a traditional belt made from thick hide (about 5mm), commonly used by harness and bridle makers. This tough yet supple hide is made in the old way and has a strong smell of leather.
The leather is the real show-stopper here, tanned in the same process that has been done for centuries and takes up to 2 years from start to finish.
The hides are dyed by hand at a local tannery which is the last of it's kind in the whole of Europe.
This process allows the grain and all the individual markings on the cows skin to show through. The dye is absorbed into the hide in an irregular way which gives a unique appearance to every belt. Each one is completely unique.
Complete with complimentary personalisation and you have a truly one-of-a-kind gift, bound to be a future heirloom.
FINDING YOUR SIZE
Measure an existing belt as shown in the diagram below.

To get the right size measure an existing belt from the point where the leather meets the buckle to the most regularly used hole. This is the measured size.
Each belt has 5 holes 1” (2.5cm) apart.
